The general objective of this Nucleus is to address fundamental questions in the stochastic modeling of disordered and complex systems arising in the natural sciences, social sciences and engineering.

We target problems in the general fields of random media, random interfaces, interacting particle systems, random polymers and the KPZ universality class.

Our group consists of four associate investigators, three young investigators, two postdocs, five PhD students and three masters students.
